    hey :]

    when i get the grayscale sketch done i just add an overlay layer and add some basic colors. After that I add a new normal layer and paint over the colored sketch to fix stuff and add final details. Its pretty muck what Jason Chan does its a very fluid process. I recommend you check Jason Chan's character exploration tutorials to see the process in detail :] I can also send you a psd if you'd like to see how I do it :]
